McKee announces 2 Coastal Resources Management Council appointments

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Gov. Dan McKee announced the selection of Joseph Russolino and Kevin Flynn to serve on the Coastal Resources Management Council.

The council’s mission is to preserve, protect, develop, and restore coastal resources for all Rhode Islanders.

Russolino is currently the the managing partner at Russolino and Young, LTD, and serves as a member of the Warwick Harbor Management Commission.

Flynn, meanwhile, serves as vice chair of the Warwick Planning Board and is a member of Common Cause Rhode Island and Access Point R.I.

He also served as the associate director of the state’s Division of Planning until 2015.

“Protecting, preserving, and developing the 420 plus miles of Rhode Island coastline is a top priority of my administration,” McKee said. “I am confident that the expertise and experience of both Joseph Russolini and Kevin Flynn will help further the mission and work the council has already done.”
