Gas prices in Rhode Island down by a penny this week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — AAA Northeast said Monday that the average price of gasoline in Rhode Island went down by a penny this week.
The average is down to $3.50 per gallon. This price is up 3 cents from last month.
“Although millions hit the road for Memorial Day, gasoline demand fell,” said Diana Gugliotta, director of public affairs for AAA Northeast. “Analysts will now be watching for signs of price movement related to upcoming OPEC production cuts.”
This week’s average gas price is $1.43 lower than this time last year.
