Police: 27-year-old victim shot at least 6 times in Cranston after argument

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston police said Monday a person was shot multiple times after an argument over the weekend.
The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday on Bailey Street.
When police arrived at the scene, Maj. Todd Patalano said blood was spattered in the road with shell casings on the street.
Patalano said the victim, only identified as a 27-year-old, and another person were arguing. That’s when shots were fired between those involved.
The 27-year-old was later found at Rhode Island Hospital with at least six gunshot wounds, said Patalano.
The shooting remains under investigation.
