Warwick police look to identify woman accused of going shopping with stolen wallet

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick police are looking to identify a woman accused of stealing a wallet and going shopping.

The department posted photos of a woman they believe stole a wallet from the Aldi’s grocery store on Quaker Lane in Warwick on May 24.

The woman is accused of going to Cumberland Farms in West Warwick using credit cards from inside the wallet to buy cigarettes.

Police say she then went back to Quaker Lane in Warwick to the Stop & Shop grocery store and made two separate purchases. The woman received $50 cash back for both transactions.

The wallet is green and has pink peacocks on it.
