2 cars heavily damaged after reported crash in Raynham

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Two cars crashed and were seen bearing heavy damage to their front ends and sides in Raynham, Thursday afternoon.

ABC 6 News crews are on the scene at Orchard Street where a Honda Accord sedan could be seen missing its driver-door and with heavy damage done to its driver’s side, pushed off into a grassy patch on the side of the road.

Nearby, a BMW SUV could be seen in the middle of Orchard Street bearing heavy damage, mostly to its front end. All airbags inside the BMW were deployed.

Officials on scene did not immediately release any information regarding the cause, but said it is an active crime scene.

ABC 6 News has reached out to Raynham police for comment and are waiting to hear back.
