Motorcyclist killed after crash with tractor trailer in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said they responded to a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a tractor trailer early Monday morning.

According to officials, at approximately 1:38 a.m., police responded to the crash at the 15.8 mile-marker on Route 190 southbound.

Authorities said the driver of the motorcycle, only identified at this time as being a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The right travel lane was closed until approximately 6:20 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.

No further information was immediately released.
