Fire breaks out at waterfront Jamestown home
JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — A fire broke out at a waterfront home in Jamestown early Tuesday morning.
The fire happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Holmstead Court.
Interim Police Chief Angela Deneault said when firefighters arrived, they found the home was partially engulfed in fire and heavy smoke.
While the home suffered heavy water and smoke damage, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known.
