Cloudy, humid day

All the thunderstorms and heavy rain we woke up this morning to has quickly moved out and left us with a few isolated showers this morning.

As we head into the day, we start to warm up and the sun may make an appearance, but as it does, that creates more instability and help those storms to the west march across the area in the evening hours. It starts to fizzle out by the time it reaches us this evening, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear a few rumbles of thunder.

We are stuck in a pattern of unstable air and this will keep the spotty, scattered showers around through the wee as well as the humidity.
