West Warwick man dies in motorcycle crash

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in West Warwick on Thursday night.

Police said officers were called to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash around 10:20 p.m. on New London Turnpike near the intersection of Scenic Drive.

Officers said a 54-year-old West Warwick man suffered life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he later died.

His name was not released.

The circumstances of the crash are under investigation by West Warwick and Rhode Island State Police.
