EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Bradley Hospital said Thursday that it raised more than $1 million at its annual Bravo Bradley fundraiser.

The children’s psychiatric hospital said that the event included dinner, dancing, remarks from a 13-year-old patient, and a live auction at Mount Hope Farm.

The auction included items such as a weeklong stay in Antigua, a trip to Napa Valley in California, and a New England sports package of tickets to Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox games.

They added that of the money raised, $420,000 was generated for The Bradley Center, an acute residential treatment program for teenagers dealing with a range of emotional and behavioral concerns.

“I have always known Bradley Hospital to have an incredible donor community and the outpouring of generosity exhibited at this year’s Bravo event only solidified that even further,” President Henry Sachs, MD said. “I am beyond grateful to everyone who helped to make the event such a tremendous success.”
