WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) -- Former State Senator Nick Kettle was back in court today. He turned down a plea deal last week and his trial started today. Kettle is facing 10 charges of video voyeurism accused of taking naked pictures of his ex girlfriend and sending them to another man without her knowledge.
He’s accused of taking nude pictures of his ex girlfriend while she was changing clothes and sending them to another man, Zachary Brennan. He was the first witness to take the stand, granted immunity in exchange for his testimony.
He’ll be back on the stand tomorrow, Kettle’s ex is also expected to testify later in the trial.
