Driver flown to hospital after rollover crash in Raynham

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Raynham Police and Fire Departments responded to a rollover crash on Judson Street Tuesday night.

Police Chief James Donovan and Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita said that both departments responded to the area of the crash at about 8:30 p.m. and found a Honda Civic that had rolled onto its side, trapping the driver.

LaCivita said that firefighters worked for over an hour using hydraulic tools to free the driver, a 33-year-old man from Taunton, who was then flown to Rhode Island Hospital.

The chiefs added that Taunton Fire Department and Harry’s Auto Wrecking provided assistance at the scene while the Bridgewater Fire Department provided station coverage.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the police department.
