A few storms linger overnight for the Islands, Cape before a beautiful Friday

Most of the area is quieting down, but we do still have an isolated threat for a waterspout or quick spin-up tornado for Cape Cod and the Islands through 2am.

Skies will then clear and you can expect a fantastic and comfortably warm day on Friday.

The weekend isn’t bad, Saturday will feature a mix of sun and clouds. There will be another fast-moving shortwave of energy that moves through Saturday night into Sunday, but I don’t think Sunday is a wash – showers will move out and skies will clear through the day.

Have a great night, and be safe!
