East Providence police seek video surveillance, information related to fatal crash

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence police are seeking help from the public amid an investigation into a deadly crash.

Police were called to a serious crash at the intersection of Pawtucket and Caitlin avenues on Friday night.

Police said they’re looking for video surveillance footage of the area between 7:45 p.m. and 7:51 p.m.

The department is looking for video or information related to a neon green Nissan convertible sports car going south and a 2018 gray Subaru Legacy going north.

Jacob Crenshaw, 24, of Pawtucket, died at Rhode Island Hospital. His brother, 27-year-old Andrew Crenshaw, was in critical condition.

The driver of the Subaru, a 22-year-old Providence resident, was stable.
