Man sustains life-threatening injuries in forklift accident at Logan Airport
BOSTON (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police announced they’re investigating after a man sustained life-threatening injuries in an accident while he was operating a forklift at Logan Airport.
Police said the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, in a loading area outside Terminal C, a location where there is no public access.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a part of the forklift struck a structure, causing the forklift to overturn on top of the man, officials said.
The identity of the man was not immediately released but authorities said he works for a sub-contractor that was working with JetBlue.
No further information was immediately released.
