Pawtucket man accused of distributing drugs in Providence, having illegal guns

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said Tuesday they arrested a Pawtucket man last week accused of distributing drugs in Providence and having illegal guns.

Police said they executed court authorized search warrants Friday on several cars and homes associated with Angel Lorenzo.

Officers seized several drugs, including 75 grams of fentanyl, multiple guns, such as a loaded Springfield Armory .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a Taurus G2C 9mm semi-automatic pistol, and about $4,000 in cash.

Lorenzo, 30, faces firearms and narcotics charges.

Police said he’s a previously convicted felon who’s currently on probation for first degree robbery, breaking and entering, firearms offenses, and narcotics offenses.
