Live Updates: Rhode Island 1st Congressional District special election results
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — ABC 6 News crews have been live from polling locations throughout Rhode Island for the state’s 1st Congressional District special primary election for congress all day Tuesday.
More than 10.5% of registered voters in District 1 came out to polling locations, according to the Rhode Island Secratery of State.
The results of the collected ballots as of 8:10 p.m. is as follows:
Republicans:
- Gerry Leonard: 73.3%
- Terri Flynn: 26.7%
Democrats:
- Gabriel Amo: 35.4%
- Aaron Regunburg: 23.5%
- Sandra Cano: 13.1%
- Sabina Matos: 8.3%
- Stephen Casey: 6.6%
- Water Berbick: 4%
- Ana Quezada: 2.6%
- John Goncalves: 2.2%
- Allen Waters: 1.4%
- Don Carlson: 1.1%
- Stephanie Beaute: 1.1%
- Spencer Dickinson: 0.8%
