PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – Due to the closure of schools, numerous Rhode Island schools are offering free “Grab and Go” meals to students.

The rules are simple, any student aged 18 or under who shows up gets a free meal.

They do not need an ID, but the child must be present. Staff members working at the sites cannot give a meal to an adult on behalf of a child.

*An important change for Middletown school children. Beginning Thursday, April 9, all grab and go meals will be moved to the J H Gaudet Middle School on 1113 Aquidneck Ave, Middletown, RI 02842.
