New Bedford woman arrested after threatening man with loaded gun

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) – A New Bedford woman was arrested Wednesday night after purportedly threatening a man with a loaded gun.
Wareham Police reported to an area of the Woods at Wareham around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday after receiving reports that a female had pulled a firearm on a male subject.
Later reports indicated that the female suspect was operating a black SUV-type vehicle and was exiting the property toward Swifts Beach Road.
Police quickly identified the suspect vehicle parked on the side of Swifts Beach Road.
After a brief investigation, officers determined that the driver, identified as Alyssa Sinclair, 21, of New Bedford, was in possession of a loaded firearm.
Sinclair was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm without a Permit.
Police said the incident stemmed from an argument between Sinclair and the male subject.
