School worker arrested in connection with bomb threat

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – A 37-year-old cafeteria worker has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat at a local high school.

Police say school cafeteria worker Janelle Blacklock, of Richmond, was arrested as a result of an investigation by Warwick Police into a bomb threat posted in the school cafeteria on December 5th of 2018.

According to Police, in the early morning hours, workers found a note taped to a cafeteria vending machine threatening “a bomb in 3 hours”.

Blacklock is set to be arraigned in front of a bail commissioner Wednesday evening.
