CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The lane closure for bridge replacement on Interstate 95 near Route 10 in Cranston has concluded.

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation had previously said that this weekend was the last of four closures on the road.

“This weekend we are replacing the last section of bridge that is on the northbound lanes of I-95,” said Department of Transportation director, Peter Alviti.

Lanes were expected to reopen Monday morning, but the DOT said it was able to finish it ahead of schedule.

“Thanks to everyone for their patience as we worked through this rapid bridge replacement,” the DOT said on social media.
