Attleboro convenience store clerk robbed at gunpoint

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — A convenience store clerk was robbed at gunpoint in Attleboro on Wednesday night.

Police were called to Border Bets and Butts on Washington Street just after 10 p.m. after an employee reported a suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money and rolling papers.

The clerk told police the suspect was a Black man wearing a hoodie, a mask, and gloves. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The clerk could not see which way the suspect left or if he took off in a vehicle or on foot.

The employee was not harmed.

The incident is under active investigation.
