Freetown man arrested on 5 active warrants to face judge

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Freetown man who was arrested over the weekend after an hours-long search is set to face a judge Monday.

Police said Brandon Demoranville, 37, had five active warrants when he was arrested on Sunday.

With the public’s help, officers found him in a parked vehicle with his girlfriend and his mother at the Mobil Mart in East Freetown.

Two days prior, police searched for him for hours on Chace Road on the ground and in the air.

Raynham police and Massachusetts State Police assisted with the search after Demoranville took off into the woods.

Authorities said he was wanted for non-violent crimes including breaking and entering and larceny.

Demoranville is set to appear in Fall River District Court.
