Route 121 in Wrentham closed due to water main break

WRENTHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that Route 121 in Wrentham is closed due to a water main break on the road.

MassDOT said that the closure is to repair the break, and the road will be paved and rehabilitated following the water main repair.

The repair is expected to be completed at some point next week.

A detour is in place as follows:

• The northbound Route 121 detour starts at Green Street in Wrentham, continues to Route 1A and follows Route 1A northbound until it rejoins at the intersection with Route 121.  
• Route 121 southbound is closed at Route 1A and traffic is detoured southbound on Route 1A to Green Street and back onto Route 121 southbound.  

Drivers traveling through the area should reduce speed and expect delays.
