Man running marathons in every state for charity to run in Newport this weekend

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Jason Conway has set out to run 50 marathons in 50 states in order to raise money for charity.

He said is doing all of this to raise money for a fundraising effort along with the Children’s Miracle Network and that he will be running in the Newport Marathon on Sunday.

Conway said he marathons across the country and raises money for families with children born prematurely in that state.

This Sunday, Conway is running for Nate and Sean, premature twins born at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

He added that his personal motivation is his son Brooks, who was born prematurely 18 years ago.
