Vendors show off wares at Scituate Art Festival

SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE) — Vendors showed off their goods at the 57th annual Scituate Art Festival on Saturday.

The yearly festival at the Village Green in North Scituate brings out exhibitors of fine art, handmade crafts, and antiques, as well as food vendors, raffles, and live music.

The event started in 1967 as a way to raise funds to restore the Scituate Congregational Church as a public use, non-sectarian venue.

The festival runs until Monday, Oct. 9.
