17-year-old homicide suspect added to Massachusetts State Police most wanted list

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police have added a 17-year-old boy who is the suspect of a homicide in Brockton from back in February.

According to police, Kahmari Price, 17, is the suspected shooter who allegedly killed a 33-year-old man.

Officials said that on February 26, of this year, Brockton Police responded to multiple reports of a shooting on North Main Street.

First responders said when they arrived, they found 33-year-old Mark Boyd suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. He did not survive.

Investigators later identified Price as the suspect in the shooting and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with murder. National extradition was also authorized for the warrant.

Police say Price has ties to the greater Fall River area and is actively avoiding capture. The gun used in the killing has also not been recovered and Price is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Price is identified as being five-feet, 10 inches tall, approximately 140lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
