Ocean State Job Lot acquires former Toys “R” Us locations

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) – Empty Toys “R” Us stores across New England will soon become home to Ocean State Job Lot locations.

The North Kingstown based company recently bought six former Toys “R” Us locations and has agreed to a long-term lease at a seventh location.

The seven stores are in New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

None of the Rhode Island locations were part of the deal which was effective beginning in December.
