BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A man facing charges in an officer-involved shooting in Lakeville, Massachusetts has a dangerousness hearing on Thursday.

Timothy Hladik, 45, was being held without bail since his arraignment from his hospital bed at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford earlier this month.

Hladik is facing two counts each of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit a crime.

Police body-worn camera footage shows a Lakeville officer repeatedly yelling for Hladik to drop his gun at the intersection of Pickens and Precinct Street before the shooting on the night of Sept. 29.

Hladik is accused of pulling his SUV up to where the officer was parked and making threats before showing his gun.

He is further accused of getting out of his vehicle and raising the gun at the officer.

The officer and an off-duty Massachusetts state trooper fired at Hladik and provided emergency treatment on scene.

Both officers were placed on paid administrative leave.

The investigation is ongoing by state and Lakeville police and the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
