Attleboro, Rhode Island synagogues receive bomb threats

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Police Department said that Jewish houses of worship in Massachusetts and Rhode Island received bomb threats Saturday.
Police said that the bomb squad responded to a synagogue around 9:30 a.m. after it received an emailed threat.
The department added that several Jewish houses of worship in Rhode Island received similar threats.
Officers performed a sweep of the building and grounds and found “no items of concern.”
A follow-up investigation on the “hoax threat” is being conducted by the police department.
