Jaws of life used to free 1 from crash in East Greenwich

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WLNE) — A person was taken out of a vehicle by the jaws of life after a crash in East Greenwich early Monday.
The East Greenwich Firefighters Association said a driver struck a parked vehicle on Main Street at about 1:30 a.m.
The crash happened outside the East Greenwich Fire Station.
The agency posted photos on social media of a heavily damaged red vehicle that landed on its side and a Ford truck with significant rear-end damage.
One person was extricated with the jaws of life and was taken to the emergency room at Rhode Island Hospital.
No further information was immediately released.
