Man’s body found near abandoned car in Bourne, State Police say

BOURNE, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police are investigating after a man’s body was found in Bourne late Sunday night.

Officials say the body was found just before midnight on Sunday after State Troopers responded to a report of an abandoned car at Scusset Beach State Reservation.

A subsequent search of the area led to troopers finding the body of a man who they said is connected to the car.

Police say their investigation suggests there is no foul play involved at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing.
