State police investigating shooting on I-95

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Police said it is investigating an early morning shooting on Interstate 95.

Lt. Robert Creamer said that the shooting took place on I-95 North in Providence overnight Saturday.

The Providence Police Department said that the state police responded to the shooting at the time.
