Driver rescued from rollover crash in West Greenwich

WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (WLNE) — A driver was hospitalized after they were rescued from a violent rollover crash on Route 95 in West Greenwich.

According to West Greenwich first responders, the driver of a Volvo sedan needed to be extricated after their car rolled over into the woods.

A photo from the crash shows the sedan mangled with its roof cut open from first responders rescuing the driver.

The condition of the driver was not immediately released.
