Rhode Island massage therapist has license revoked by state for 2nd time

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A massage therapist in Rhode Island who’s license was suspended after inappropriate conduct was reported by one of his clients in 2022, has had his license to practice suspended for a second time.
According to documents from the Rhode Island Department of Health, Anthony Conti, of Cranston, had his massage therapist license suspended for three months in December of 2022 after he allegedly had sexual intercourse with one of his clients.
Documents from RIDOH obtained by ABC 6 News detail a second incident where Conti allegedly touched another one of his clients inappropriately at an office in Warwick. That incident happened on September 1, of this year.
Based on the previous incident coupled with the complaint from September, RIDOH suspended Conti’s license for another 90 days.
Conti was arraigned on September 21, during which he entered no plea to one count of first degree sexual assault and was held without bail.
On October 5, of this year, a judge set his bail at $20,000 at a later hearing and ordered he be on home confinement and have no contact with the victim.
