Attleboro cashier recalls being robbed at gunpoint by suspects linked to other crimes
ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — A cashier at the Lucky Lottery and Smoke store in Attleboro who was confronted by two masked suspects believed to be connected to a string of crimes outlined the terrifying moments he was held at gunpoint Monday night.
The cashier, who only wanted to be referred to as Tony, said he was closing the store around 11:50 p.m., when he saw two men approach the store with guns in their hands.
“I said, ‘My friend, no mask’ — but I didn’t know he had a gun — he showed me a gun,” Tony told ABC 6 News.

The store’s surveillance footage shows one of the suspects holding Tony at gunpoint and ripping cash from the register while a second man stood guard at the front door. A third suspect was waiting in a white Kia Optima outside.
Their faces were covered, and they were wearing dark-colored sweatshirts, black sweatpants, white sneakers, and light-colored gloves.
All of the suspects are believed to be in their 20s.

“I’ve done this my whole life — I’ve been working in stores for 25 years, but this is a first time,” Tony said.
