New Bedford Route 140 painting work to begin Wednesday

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that painting work on Route 140 over Braley Road in New Bedford will begin Wednesday night.

The project will be performed nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. and will conclude on Friday morning.

MassDOT said that one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction during all work hours.

Drivers traveling through the area should use caution and expect delays.
