UPDATE: Several vehicles damaged in TF Green parking garage fire

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – Crews battled a fire in a TF Green Airport parking garage Friday afternoon.

Rhode Island Airport Corporation tells ABC6 that a fire involving two vehicles broke out Friday afternoon in Garage B, a short term parking lot at the airport.

Traffic was temporarily diverted into the airport’s departures area while Warwick and RIAC Fire Departments worked to knock down the fire. 

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A RIAC spokesman said that the parking garage has been reopened and traffic patterns are back to normal.
