Woman indicted in deadly hit-and-run crash in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A driver accused in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Providence earlier this year has been indicted, prosecutors said Monday.
The Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office said that last week, 35-year-old Alisha Pina was indicted on one count of leaving the scene of an accident, death resulting.
The crash happened on North Main Street at about 10 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Pina, of Lincoln, is accused of hitting 38-year-old Zacory Richardson and taking off.
Richardson died of his injuries.
Pina will be arraigned on Nov. 15 in Providence County Superior Court.
