Providence police investigating pro-Palestine graffiti on RISD building

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said Tuesday that its investigating another instance of pro-Palestine vandalism.
ABC 6 News crews saw red paint on the door to the RISD Store on North Main Street Monday night.
There was additional graffiti reported at the Textron building on Westminster Street that said “Free Gaza” in red paint, Chief Oscar Perez said.

When asked, Providence police were unable to confirm if the vandalism is connected to graffiti done to the storefront of Farm Fresh Rhode Island.

Workers from the Department of Public Works were also on scene cleaning the graffitied area.
ABC 6 also reached out to RISD, but officials were not able to comment on the incident.
