North Providence dad decks out his home with a ‘Stranger Things’-themed Halloween display
NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A North Providence man celebrated Halloween by decking out his home with “Stranger Things”-themed Halloween decorations.
Steven Simoneau says him and his daughter have been decorating their house with homemade props for seven years, but this year, they decided to find a theme.

“Usually, we just do a bunch of scary stuff, but this year we said we’re going to pick and theme and we went with it,” Simoneau said.
Simoneau said he and his daughter started making the props at the beginning of the summer, working between four and five hours a night.

Simoneau also noted that traffic to his house has skyrocketed this year, saying that normal traffic has grown to hundreds of people a night stopping by his home to check out the display.
According to Simoneau, who runs a YouTube channel showing viewers how to make the props for next to nothing. He says he only spent roughly $150 on the entire display.
