Drying Out Overnight

The wet weather from earlier today is moving away from New England this evening and as a result we will see partial clearing for a while overnight with lows dropping back to around 40°. Another storm system from Texas will quickly head toward the mid-Atlantic states tomorrow and it will be close enough to send cloud back into the region, but not any additional rain as that will stay offshore to our south. Looks for high temperatures tomorrow to reach the low 50s.
A cold front crosses the region Friday night and as we head into the Veteran’s Day weekend colder temperatures will settle into the Rhode Island, but we’ll be looking at bright sunny skies. Highs Saturday will be in the upper 40s and only mid 40s Sunday. After that it looks like an extended dry stretch will last through at least the middle of the upcoming week along with a slight warming trend back to the low 50s, but that is still a few degrees below normal for this time of year.
