Rhode Island FC holding open tryouts this weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island FC said it will host open tryouts this Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s tryouts are being held at Providence Country Day School, while Sunday’s will be happening at Bryant University.

The organization said it expects around 500 players at the event, and those chosen will be able to participate in an invite-only tryout with other scouted and recruited players later in the month.
