Man arrested for vandalism after altercation at Top Golf

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department arrested a man after a disturbance at Top Golf in Cranston Friday night.

According to Major Todd Patalano, Cranston police arrested 28-year-old Donovan Guzman Gonzalez, of Providence, after he was allegedly involved in an altercation that ended with property damage to the business. He was charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct.

Officers said they responded to Top Golf around 11 p.m. for a report of an altercation that broke out amongst a group of patrons.

It is alleged that Gonzalez and another man threw mugs at each other during the altercation and broke a large plate-glass window which was approximately three-by-eight feet.

Police said it was an isolated incident and they are still looking to identify the other suspect involved.
