PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The second suspect charged for his alleged role in the execution-style double homicide of a couple in Providence was arraigned Monday and held without bail.

28-year-old Tyler Freeman of Norton, Massachusetts, is charged with first-degree murder in connection to the shooting deaths of 29-year-old Brian Fernandez and 30-year-old Sreylakh Ros.

On Thursday, November 9, authorities arrested 29-year-old Miguel Perez of Warwick and Freeman on murder charges after search warrants were executed on their homes.

Prosecutors said that in the search of Freeman’s home led to the discovery of two 9mm handguns, one of which had no serial number and a large-capacity magazine. Officials also said Freeman does not have a license to own a firearm or an FID card of any kind.

Police said the couple was targeted by Perez and Freeman and were parents to four children, two of which they had together.
