Fall River police search for driver who struck 17-year-old on scooter

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police are searching for the driver responsible in a hit-and-run crash that injured a teenager on a scooter Wednesday night.
Police said officers were called for a hit-and-run crash around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Aetna Street and Stafford Road.
The department believes a black SUV turned north onto Stafford Road from Aetna Street and hit a 17-year-old boy on a scooter.

The SUV, described as a black four-door pickup truck, fled the scene.
The teenager was brought to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
