Woonsocket auto shop gives away cars for veterans in need

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Henri’s Auto Repair and New Englanders Helping Our Veterans held a veterans in need giveaway.

Organizers said they gave away three cars to retired and active duty service members.

NEHOV President Jim Collins said that the winners of the three cars were picked previously via raffle, and Saturday’s event decided who got which car.

“We’re the biggest brotherhood in the world, veterans, and as much as we can get everybody happy, that’s what we’re here for,” he said.
