5 displaced after massive house fire in Cranston
CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) –Five people are without a home after a fire destroyed a home on Frances Avenue in Cranston on Saturday.
According to the city’s fire chief, James Warren, a call came in reporting a house fire around 3 p.m. When crews arrived on scene they were met with heavy fire coming from the front of the home.
Chief Warren said none of the residents or the roughly 40 firefighters on the scene were injured in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Cranston Fire Department.
