Cranston home significantly damaged after fire, 5 displaced

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Red Cross is assisting three people after flames tore through a house in Cranston on Saturday.
The fire broke out at a home on Frances Avenue around 3 p.m.
Fire officials said a total of five people were displaced. The Red Cross is helping three of them — two adults and one child.
Fire officials said about 40 firefighters responded to the scene.
The front of the house was significantly damaged.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
