Juvenile driver charged with DUI in Burrillville rollover crash

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — A juvenile driver was charged with driving under the influence and other offenses after a rollover crash in Burrillville Tuesday night.
Burrillville police were called to Callahan School Street for a rollover crash around 10 p.m. amid light snow.
Officers found the vehicle on its side. Two people were trapped inside, and three more were able to get themselves out.

Police found signs of substance use and started a DUI investigation. The occupants, four juveniles and a 25-year-old man, were brought to various hospitals with minor injuries.
The driver, a juvenile female, was charged with DUI — first offense, BAC unknown, four counts of driving to endanger, and reckless operation.
Her name was not released.
The crash is under investigation.
